Frequently asked questions

When should I book a postnatal nurse?

Ideally in your third trimester, so we can plan shifts around your due date. Last-minute requests are also welcome.

Can the doula come to the hospital?

Yes, our doulas can support you at home in early labour and continue at the hospital, subject to hospital rules.

How quickly can someone come to my home?

In most Nairobi areas we can arrange a visit the same day or the next day. Our coordinator will confirm the exact time when they call you.

How do I pay?

There is no payment on the website. Our coordinator confirms your booking and the price with you, then explains how to pay (for example M-Pesa). For quote-based services, we agree the price with you first.
